Get storage back
Find files and photos saved more than once and remove the copies you do not need.
Most full phones are not full of one big thing. They are full of the same things several times: a photo sent to three people and saved back each time, a document downloaded twice, a backup of a backup.
On your phone
In the Fixamgo app
- Open Fixamgo and go to the Cleaner tab.
- Allow access to your photos when asked.
- Tap Scan. Your photos are compared on the phone itself; nothing is uploaded.
- Review each group. One copy of each is always kept.
- Remove the rest. They go to Recently Deleted, so there is a window to change your mind.
In a browser
In a browser
- Open app.fixamgo.com/cleaner and choose a folder. Subfolders are included.
- Your files are compared in the browser. Nothing is uploaded.
- Review each group. Fixamgo suggests which copy to keep; press KEEP on a different one to swap, or click a filename to look at it first.
- Remove them. In Chrome and Edge the files are deleted for real; in Firefox and Safari you get a list to act on, because those browsers give a page no way to delete anything.
